Finally moved on Sunday to our Semi D

N I collected the keys to our 2nd property on Monday from the law firm myself hee coz hubby was in meeting.

=) Congrats hubby, we r now the proud owners of 2 properties at the average age of 32. It is remarkable achievement already at our age. We always want to pace ourselves. now heh now we can move to the next phase in life.

hee Finally went to our dentist, he is just as busy as us, so hard to book him. he is @ opening his 49th branch so no doubt he is busy. he is into commercial properties, an area which we try to explore previously so it was good to hear from someone who has been there and done tat. we really had gd advices from him on which banks are gd for commercial, how much, locations, the yield, the agents, the tax. anyway i think he owns more than 3 properties, he was just being modest saying he owns 3. he too agreez, that u need definitely more than 2 properties to churn $ and that is the plan for retirement. =D

my hubby says we shud just visit him despite his busy schedules instead of visiting his best recommended disciple, coz it is great to hear from some1 who can give u tips on investment from investors' point of angle that ur peers or ur frenz may nv be able to provide u with.

Countdown to moving house - 7 days

Still have lotsa on the list to complete but hopefully will run smooth next 7 days. Remaining tasks: Painting of the outer walls, installation of grass, aircons, carpet, polishing of our floors, clearing up of construction debris, mounting of the mirrors in the toilets, all ikea installation, all courts' purchase arrivals (just a feeling that it will be screwed up on the day heh too many deliveries for courts). That is all, shouldnt be a sweat compared to less than 1 mth ago when we just got the keys on 12th Dec.

Now just left with the packing hee which seems to have multiplied due to ahem my shopping @ TW and all those shoes. Hopefully the movers dont notice and charge.

finally we have Bought everything for the house, waiting for last 2 weeks of reno and moving in before CNY. the contractors were also commenting me n my hubby v young. heh i feel proud when we sign on the legal papers and write our ic =P

one of the contractors we used has a v interesting business model, n v v systematic. was thinking if he is not passing on to his son, feel like asking him can pass to us? haha this trip to tw has inspired me in doing business as i have seen few successful businesses and all their bosses are very very young, ard 30, dare to take the risks and do hard work.

1. Finished my MBA and grad

Bought this yesterday for investment hee.

TOP 2010, v new and the owner hardly stays, the gap between the tiles are white, hardly touched. So me n hubby decided to get it. N we were so sad tat we most likely have no chance to stay in it! gosh as my hubby says, it is a spreadsheet decision, we should not be emotional with our investments hee

Our lawyer that we use for all these transactions decided to give us discounts coz just too many transactions within the 3 months. can our agent and banker also give us discounts? HEE we are finally citigold member, but after all the property transactions, we will drop out again but then again, you will wonder wat you r really looking for, the status of all those (krisflyer gold, pps, gold cards of the hotels, citigold) or the long run. we prefer the latter.

Long time havenot update my blog, gosh, many things have happen but the most impt thing is...I have attended my mba grad ceremony! hubby bought me a new white iPad for my graduation hee, he is also v happy coz this is sth i told him on our first date and now we have finally completed it, a task off our checklist. He wore suit for the ceremony, i think the pple muz have tot he is the student instead of me hee. I think I m the youngest but YAY finally completed. Now can concentrate on our new house renovations.

Time flies and every1 has grown up by now, we are all almost reaching 30. as we have all grown, we r too busy in working and in different stages of our lives. Tho I missed my dear old frenz whom i ve not seen for ages, and we used to be best of frenz spending half of our youth hanging out tog, I realised I have nothing to say to them anymore. I can tell by not needing to talk on the phone anymore with anyone.

when we were younger, mb we share everything in our lives, our experiences, our happiness, and we need much more support. When we are now, we have to face most of our lives' moments ourselves, we grow stronger and actually we are capable of facing them without the support of frenz or telling anyone.

Nevertheless i hope the best for all my gd old frenz whom i havenot seen or contact for ages and i m definitely happy to see them grown and achieving wer they are today despite we no longer keep in contact. if we ever meet again, I will be at all smiles to see their achievements to date.

KOrea n Japan is quite alike, the working society can be quite depressing, all worked from 8am to 9pm 0.o i have no idea how can they work so long and other countries also asked them the same question. Their houses in Seoul can also be quite expensive, 1Mil for an apartment like our condo. our era in the age of credit.

my hubby's fren going to deliver next week gosh! A baby girl! Best part is we have not visited them for 9 months -.-" goodness we have bought gifts and we better go these 2 weekends.

When we were younger, I dunno y i got so much time N i nv make full use of them. even wen me n hubby were dating, we were v free. we have been soo busy since studying and till now. within the next 1 month, i will be going to 3 countries. 0.o my luggage, hmm i think need to bring whole wardrobe. =P

Next 2 years we are both going to be v busy again and hopefully we can have a baby soon too hee and look for another bigger landed property once the prices stabilise and retire early. Business Idea

I think sometimes investing in land is really the most profitable. E house opp ours was old, land sold at 3.2Mil. The contractor who bought it, subdivided it into 3 houses, he tried to re-build it within less than a year. Is maddness, I never seen a house build at such a fast speed. Then now, 2 houses are sold out of the 3 houses and it is still in the progress. 2 sold at 2.8Mil and 2.3Mil respectively, total up to 5.1Mil. The construction of 3 houses may be at most 1.5Mil since the construction company is also the owner's? rest are all profits. It is at least 2Mil profit in less than a year.

Best. the contractor's own house is a 4Mil bungalow that he built himself.

Y some pple are so rich and smart in investing? but me n hubby thinks this is really a gd workable biz idea man, it is really v smart. cant work forever man. =P

Hee HAd to eat Chinese New Year this week with parents, fast forward everything as we are travelling all the way thru CNY. already buy all the CNY things also hee to stock up at home for parents. All Set to go!

Love this colour and wanted to buy the jacket but I think difficult to maintain =( I super cannot take care of my things so I end up buying dark purple instead! I have another pink jacket but i think that one is for above 5 degrees. Milan is still at 3 degrees and Switz should be colder. My hubby already has his bright yellow ski jacket. We bought gloves, scarf, thick socks, etc. Hee I am super scared of cold!

Heh my hubby booked Hotel Danieli in Venice OMG hee the hotel in the movie "The Tourist". I hope is gd coz the price of staying in Venice 2 nights is more than 5 nights in Paris =D the person said 2nd honey moon hee

Our Milan and Rome hotel is also not too bad. Now still browsing thru the Paris hotel and Switz ones, we r taking very seriously E comments online, gosh, dont want some shady dark cheap rooms. I think it is definitely cost a bomb in Europe hee coz even the water taxi is Eur 30+, sgd 50+. I need my seasick pills i think hee

Happy New Year!

Gosh while every1 partied and shagged out on the last day of 2010, I z at 10pm hee. Xmas Tree

Was thinking of putting an xmas tree in our grass area. Went to Ikea to look at "real" xmas trees then realised gosh its leaves keep dropping -.- Then the plastic one look v ugly. Conclusion dont buy, coz no time to sweep the leaves

Next still condemn Courts after 1 yr (we condemned them last yr), they never ever change, give up! end up buying a carpet from Ikea, which cost 4 times the one bought at courts but at least blood remains at room temp =D

this option seems better considered one of the itineraries from tour package is going to visit a cemetery (cant understand Waz there to see) and full load of itineries (half i suspect are to entice us to buy things only), holiday also rush like siao. The japan trip we already have a taste of tour package. So I think we will do free N easy in Switz, Paris and Italy. My hubby bought Apple TV heh he is an Apple fan. In the morning I am still debating with my hubby how did he know the tv will arrive today, he told me he knows. While sitting outside the house typing away on my laptop, the Mail van arrive and my hubby said, "LOOK WHO's HERE"

Final project, I m stuck at doing it myself again ma de my team mates are all inactive. I practically write a business plan myself including all the financial statements and risks (luckily got practice on work where i need to highlight financial risks to finance team) etc. I receive another invitation from another team to join them in the business competition in Bangkok, the prize is USD25k. WER GOT TIME. I emailed that unfortunately i m doing the entire project myself. N the deadline is over by the time i m submitting the business plan.

long weekend for me n hubby to catch up with z hee. My hubby bought another sports bicycle with red rim wheels. Now our house gt 2 bicycles, 1 orange, 1 red rim. We even have a bicycle carrier that can be fixed on our car to transport the bicycles, act pro hee. I hope it is worth the investment! =X We have to chain up both bikes as the police in our neighbourhood send us letter stating that pple have been jumping over the gates to steal gd bikes.

finding a topic to do on my capstone project, which I have in mind, just have to translate into words. The entire project is ard 5k-6k words if I m doing alone and ard 10k-12k words if it is a team of 4. I m fine with solo.

Currently one of my finishing module is developing new enterprises. the prof is really difficult. first 4 weeks i didnt have much time to participate in discussion, i cant believe he give me the worst marks ever in my course, 50 marks, E$@#!! then 2nd next 4 weeks, i finally got time to reply to my dear course mates and he gave me 95. V extreme this guy. overall i m still nt happy coz i nv fall below 80 argh n now my project is 90, was hoping to pull average up. I like the subject as it is about starting business and discussing about business ideas. But can the prof dont be so difficult? hee

Gosh finally at the finishing line with 2 and 1/4 modules, i can foresee my dec holidays stuck with doing research and writing. how Exciting =X

Our original theme for the table is Japan, this is far from it. E guys refuse to wear Japanese coz their costumes r v plain. So they gt v excited @ the OPera costume. V hiao. N Sigh we spend like 70-80 bucks on costume including headgear etc just to wear for 1 night. me and andrea were like sian. N The worst part is I dont know how i m going to drive there with the headgear, it is too tall n cant squeeze into the car (if i wear after I park, i scared drop coz no 1 help me tie) and How to walk from CARPARk to the hotel. OMG. We better win else really no face. E worst thing is even if we win, the prize is not even enough to cover for our costumes. Conclusion we are just going to eat our worth. Our D&D theme @ end of the month

The theme is international but they assigned each table with a country, sibei no freedom. hope we get Japan out of the 4 country given to sales office. NO EGYPT or Scotland, sorry not sure what the ladies wear there. there are also countries like China (wished we had been allocated that) and UK (wat is that!?) and many more.

the only bright side we have is that it is held in the east side, which every1 else hates hee! hope i get lucky draw prizes again this year, my main intention of attending D&D!

Reckless drivers

Just as I need to survive thru the crazy busy week, I need to survive on the road with the reckless drivers.

one convertible bmw, i noe he rich, buy the car but he nv buy the road. he was on filter lane, i m on utmost right on ecp, he drove like a mad man to the next lane to my car without signaling, i already kinda saw him at the corner of my eye. then he suddenly swerve into my lane right before me, with his car half in my lane and half in his overlapped with my car without signal. I high beam him like mad. then he jam brake. Pls despite I knock into lorry before when I reverse without scratches on both vehicles, I m quite careful hee. these kinda tricks doesnt work on me sorry, i continue to horn at him.

I think if I retire next time, i think may volunteer to be traffic police. Make sure I drive as fast on my bike to catch these guys N give them the white slip (watever it looks like) they deserve. ma de, endanger themselves and still endanger others.

ytd my hubby drove, luckily hee, when E security guard near his office place is Si bei fierce. insist our car to squeeze between guard and a taxi. my hubby managed to squeeze the car in, best, his driving skills much better than me. then the next car came in to drop his wife, security guard once again insist it squeeze in. -.-" But the car did not, got scolded like mad, then next moment, the driver came down, wanting to punch the guard. -.- the wife has to stop them from fighting. Wah lauz drama. luckily not i drive, else I will be just like the car, get scolded by the guard. but i think i will not come down to punch the guard, i quickly drive off after tat hee, i will tell the guard to not punch me hahaha

All i can say is bags r really getting expensive these days! Waz the limit would u pay for a bag? This is a question prob men cant understand waz wrong with women hee. But sometimes I look at those bags also find them v nice hee

I dunno le, i cant live in a bag or go ard in it, so i think i will keep mine @ minimal. =X so far my most exp bag is USD1.4k N i greatly regret after buying hee coz i cant maintain the stripes man.
there are definitely things more valuable than bags so PLS dont spend your entire savings.
